The brief here was to design collateral materials for a proposed Typography Conference in Wellington New Zealand.
The aim was to appeal to designers and lovers of all things
typographic as well as capturing the creative nature of Wellington City.

The central illustration is made up of hundreds of typographical elements to represent the Beehive, an iconic building that is often used to promote Wellington. The image is imagined on a coffee cup, a reference to Wellington’s active cafe scene.

The sea is a defining element of the city, as it sits on a large harbour. This is represented by the use of the teal colour.

The bright yellow speaks to the sunshine on a clear Wellington day.

The pink colour is a used to emphasis the bright, fun and creative city that Wellington is.
